REFLECTION
Assume model is a framework that assumes passive learners will not learn at their best; learners must be actively participating in their own learning, interacting with their environment and peers. ASSURE also recognizes the different learning styles of all students.
Starting with the first step, Analyze Learners, it is essential to first think about your students and their general characteristics, academic levels, skills, and styles. Many teachers apply this step with asking question about their students' when they enter the classroom .The next step is to know what state objective you are going to teach. What do you want your students to know by the end of the lesson? Looking ahead at your learning outcomes is very important. However, although some teachers want to teach what they know, others do not care about what their students learn from lesson. This situation vary according to teachers.I haven't met irrelevant teacher but some friends have met this. Next, selecting instructional methods, media, and materials cannot be overlooked. It’s important to choose methods and materials that will appropriately meet the state objectives that you are teaching. This requires a lot of planning and preparation on the teacher’s part. Utilizing these media and materials comes next; it is very important to preview or use media and materials before your lesson, especially when using technology (smartboard, document camera, streaming video), to make sure everything works appropriately. Requiring learners to participate is also an essential part of any lesson. Requiring that students be actively involved in the lesson will not only engage students. These media and materials change the effect of course positively and many teachers apply them in their lesson. Lastly, evaluating and revising is a step that cannot be overlooked; while this step is often skipped over, it is actually the most vital piece. After instruction, teachers must evaluate the entire instructional process.
I think that a good teacher should perform these steps and I'm lucky, I meet effective teachers :)

Reflection on The Four Learning Theory Perspectives
Understanding how students learn, and particularly how they learn to read and write, influences the instructional approaches that teachers use.
Theories about human learning can be grouped into four broad "perspectives". These are
The focus tends to shift from the teacher to the students. The classroom is no longer a place where the teacher pours knowledge into passive students, who wait like empty vessels to be filled. In the constructivist model, the students are urged to be actively involved in their own process of learning.
Social Psychology Perspective
The focus of social learning theories is interactions between people as the primary mechanism of learning. Learning is based on observation of others in a social setting. Early social learning theories in the 1940's drew heavily from behaviorism, suggesting that imitative responses, when reinforced, let to the observed learning and behavioral changes.
When I was at high school, my teachers used cognitive perspective. For example, the teacher wanted to teach how students solve their problems more effectively. The teacher wrote or read questions and then he or she wanted to solve these question with our own thoughts or decisions. This way influenced our positively and so, I encountered many problems about my lesson or different topics with this method.
Theories about human learning can be grouped into four broad "perspectives". These are
- Behaviorism - focus on observable behavior
- Cognitive - learning as purely a mental/ neurological process
- Humanistic - emotions and affect play a role in learning
- Social - humans learn best in group activities
Behavioral Perspective
Behaviorism is the theoretical perspective in which learning and behavior are described and explained in terms of stimulus-response relationships. The key assumptions of behaviorism are:
- Learning is described through stimuli and responses. Behaviorists focus on observable events rather than events that occur inside a person's head, such as thoughts, feelings and beliefs.
- Learning must involve a behavioral change. Theorists believe that learning has not occurred unless there is an observable change in behavior.
- Learning must result when stimulus and response occur close together in time. Learners must associate their response with a stimulus. In order for that to occur, the two must happen in conjunction with each other, or, in other words, be contiguous.
Cognitive psychology is the theoretical perspective that focuses on learning based on how people perceive, remember, think, speak and problem-solve. The cognitive perspective differs from the behaviorist perspective in two distinct ways. First, cognitive psychology acknowledges the existence of internal mental states disregarded by behaviorists. Examples of these states are belief, desire, ideas and motivation (non-observable states). Second, cognitive psychologists claim memory structures determine how information is perceived, processed, stored, retrieved and forgotten. Cognitive psychology encompasses perception, categorization, memory, knowledge representation, language and thinking processes.

THE ASSURE MODEL OF LEARNING
Think back to a teacher from high school that you thought had been effective in helping students learn and achieve the objectives of your course. What steps in the ASSURE model did that teacher follow? What was missing? Firstly, I want to talk about ASSURE Model
The Assure Model is:
The ASSURE model is an ISD (Instructional System Design) process that was modified to be used by teachers in the regular classroom The ISD process is one in which teachers and trainers can use to design and develop the most appropriate learning environment for their students. You can use this process in writing your lesson plans and in improving teaching and learning.
When I was at high school, my teachers were trying to apply the ASSURE steps like analyze learners, evaluate and revise, require learner participation ,state objectives, utilize technology, media & materials, select strategies, technology, media & materials .Generally, my teacher used to utilize and select technology and strategies because I studied at technical school and my department was web design. Therefore, the use of technology was necessary for teacher.
- A procedural guide for planning and delivering instruction that integrates technology and media into the teaching process.
- A systematic approach to writing lesson plans.
- A plan used to help teachers organize instructional procedures.
- A plan used to help teachers do an authentic assessment of student learning.
- A model that can be used by all presenters.

Reflection on the literacy skills
Teacher
is very important for all person who provides education for them. teacher
should iclude study of pedagogy and the science of teaching. In addition ,
teacher always should up to date yourself
about everything because technology has improving day by day and if
teachers want to become good teacher , they should develop theirselves. For example,
they should understand students’s problems or desires and teach their information and experiences. Moreover,
teacher should be planner, problem solver, creative optimistic and guiding for
students’s future.

First Week Assigment
How do you describe using of technology in teaching in Turkey?
Today, technology has improved and became trends among teachers and students in Turkey. Technology plays a larger role in education. Today’s classrooms continue traditional mode in some areas but the world is changing and technologies allow us to communicate with students around the world. New teachers provide contextual learning environments and engage students in collaborative activities. This situation require communications and access to information that only technology can provide. I think that the use of technology in teaching must apply all over Turkey and all people must help to provide this condition.
When you graduate and start teaching, what changes in the technology in education do you predict?
Technology has improved quickly day by day and sometimes I
do not quess some technological developments. When I start teaching, I will
apply all developments for my students because of their future and perspective.
Will the new technology make your job as a teacher easier or more difficult?
In my opion, technology provides to reach all informations about everything . students learn more new information and become aware of everthing. As a teacher, technological tools are used more easier. These tools are projections, computer, tablet and so on.
